Great service at the belfry yesterday, special mention to Helen who was very helpful, friendly and informative.

Two Nights Solo Traveller

Spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was very good Firstly the room, nice and large room with a comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. The hotel is very large but well decorated and the grounds are kept very well. Bar lounge area is excellent for sitting in at night as well as outdoor seating in the courtyard. Good selection of drinks in the bar. I had both my evening meals in the lounge - opting for the burger both nights which was very good - so good I had to get it again. Gym for the hotel is a good size and well equipped. The swimming pool is very well kept with friendly staff including sauna and steam room. Notes for travellers - there is no air conditioning in the room I was in and despite staying in another Belfry hotel which had one - there is no fridge in the room

Enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend

I recently stayed at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa whilst attending a training course for work. Even though I was there on business and didn't have much free time to explore everything the hotel has to offer, I had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and has a nice, relaxing feel to it. The facilities were excellent from what I saw, and I only wish I'd had more time to make the most of them. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the hospitality was great. The food was also very good, with plenty of choice and everything I had was enjoyable. I stayed in a double room which was comfortable, clean and well looked after. It was a great place to unwind after a long day of training. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa. Hopefully next time I'll have a bit more time to explore everything it has to offer.

Kitchen issues

Olivia made a bad meal experience acceptable. The kitchen was running way behind, but she was constantly letting us know how our meal was progressing. Well done Olivia.

Deep tissue massage

The deep tissue massage was absolutely amazing and so soothing. Jo made sure i felt comfortable the entire time and the pressure was perfect.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. A shout out to Helen in the restaurant. She was so helpful and efficient.

We had an exceptional experience at dinner. The food was a high standard and we were looked after so beautifully by our waitress, Helen. Room was very nice. But the cleaning could have been better

Excellent Getaway

Stayed overnight in the hotel and had dinner. Lovely room, got upgraded which was a nice surprise. Rooms and hotel areas clean, was good value for money that pool use was included in our stay. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and our waitress Helen gave fantastic service. Food was good too. The noise levels were reasonable too, considering the location was right by the m40

Relaxed atmosphere

The hotel is nicely situated outside Oxford,the rooms are clean and roomy.The tranquil settings are perfect after a busy day out and about but the biggest complement is the staff, they are friendly,happy and a special mention goes to Helen in the Restaurant who was very attentive to mums allergies. Definitely consider using this hotel again

Helen Made Our Evening Special

We’re currently staying at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa for the night, and we’ve had a lovely experience so far. The facilities have been great, and with the weather being so hot today, the pool area was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was peaceful, well kept, and exactly what we needed. We had dinner at the restaurant this evening. Although things got off to a slightly rocky start, Helen completely changed the experience for us. From the moment she stepped in, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. She brought our food out promptly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made us feel welcome without ever being overbearing. Helen was an absolute pleasure to deal with and is a real asset to the hotel. The level of service she provided stood out and made a lasting impression on us. She deserves recognition for the way she looks after guests. A big thank you to Helen and the team. We’re really enjoying our stay and look forward to the rest of it.

a great value get-away with friends

Max, on reception was helpful with his local knowledge in helping us to plan a morning jogging- route. It would be splendid if some thought could go into planning one within the grounds for future guests who like to enjoy the Oxfordshire countryside. Above expectations ✨️

Booked a deal through Travelzoo for 2 nights to meet friends midway. Expectations were not particularly high as had seen the 3.8 rating. However the whole visit was incredible value for money, from checking in by Max (what an asset he is to your front of house) to drinks in the garden, evening meal and breakfast. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. Ours was particularly quiet, situated at the back of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and polite. It was an ideal area to visit many local attractions. Would not hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Consistently Excellent Service and Facilities

Here’s a concise but balanced review: I have been staying at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa on a weekly basis since September/October and continue to choose it because of the consistently excellent experience. The staff are always welcoming and professional, the accommodation is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The gym and spa facilities are particularly impressive and are a real highlight of my stay. Overall, the service and facilities have been first class throughout, which is why I keep returning. My only area for improvement would be the new restaurant menu. While the food remains good, I feel the previous menu offered a better selection and was more enjoyable. I would welcome a review of the current menu, as I know I’m not alone in preferring the previous offering. Thank you to the team for making my stays so enjoyable.

Children under 16 stay free when sharing a room with a paying adult and children aged 4 & under eat for free.

We accept dogs for a charge of £25 per dog, per stay up to a maximum of two dogs. Dog friendly stays must be booked through our Contact Centre on 0330 107 1599.

Oxford Station is only 13 miles away, and King's Cross Station is 90 minutes away.

What car parking facilities do you have?

We have 450 complimentary parking spaces available. Vehicle registration is required at check-in. Our car park is open, so please ensure you don't leave any valuables in your car. We also have 10 AC bays and 2 DC bays on site for charging electric vehicles.

Can I use the spa and gym if I’m staying in the hotel?

Guests are invited to use the Health Club facilities on a complimentary basis during their stay, between check-in at 3pm until check-out at 11am.

Access to the facilities is subject to availability and capacity at the time of use.

Spa treatments are available at an additional charge.

Is there a charge to use the health club facilities?

If you're staying with us, you're welcome to use the pool and health club facilities free of charge. There is an extra charge for any spa treatments. (Worth every penny, though, if you ask us!) If you're visiting our hotel just to use our facilities, you will need to pay a one-off fee of £25 per adult or £15 per child for all day use. Unless you have a gym membership, in which case, welcome back!
